The APP Critical Care Fellowship is a 12-month postgraduate, paid training program designed to equip physician assistants, acute care nurse practitioners and adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioners with the advanced knowledge and hands-on skills needed to excel in high-acuity critical care environments.
This fellowship blends didactic education, high-fidelity simulation, bedside procedural training and intensive clinical rotations across a variety of specialized intensive care units into one curriculum guided by recommendations from the Society of Critical Care Medicine and the American College of Chest Physicians.
Fellows will receive individualized training and mentorship from intensivists, experienced advanced practice providers and other members of the multidisciplinary ICU team.
