About Me: Following my graduation from medical school in Kyiv, Ukraine, I was accepted as a postdoctoral fellow at John Hopkins Hospital, Fetal Medicine Division. This experience proved to be transformative, providing me with the valuable knowledge in the fields of immuno-oncology and basic science. Driven by a desire to further my knowledge in General Surgery, I completed two preliminary years in General Surgery at John Hopkins Hospital. It was during this time that I discovered my true passion is thoracic surgery. Motivated by this, I dedicated my research year to thoracic surgery clinical research. During my free time, I love practicing yoga, exercising in the gym, salsa dancing or hiking. Furthermore, my current area of interest lies in leadership and its role in surgical education. Recognizing the significance of effective leadership in shaping the future of surgical practice, I am actively exploring this domain and seeking opportunities to contribute to the advancement of surgical education.
