Biography
Professional Interests: As an internal medicine physician, I provide comprehensive care for adults with a broad range of conditions, including cardiovascular disease, diabetes, hypertension and disorders involving multiple organ systems. I have a particular interest in managing medically complex cases, offering thorough evaluation and tailored treatment plans for patients with overlapping or challenging diagnoses. My practice is dedicated to delivering precise, evidence-based care that addresses the full scope of adult health.
Hobbies/Interests: Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my wife and children. I’m passionate about outdoor adventure, including rock climbing, hiking, backpacking, road cycling and other endurance sports that challenge both body and mind.
Strengths of Training at CAMC: Training at Charleston Area Medical Center offers a well-rounded experience in internal medicine, combining academic rigor with the hands-on exposure of a community-based hospital. Residents benefit from diverse clinical pathology, strong mentorship, simulation-based training and opportunities to teach medical students — all within a supportive environment that promotes professional growth and work-life balance.
Life in Charleston: With the expansive wilderness of West Virginia right out our back door, life in Charleston is an outdoor enthusiast’s dream. Whitewater rafting, rock climbing, hiking, hunting, fishing — you name it, we have it.
