Biography

Hometown: Cape May, NJ
Fun Fact: I am always looking to expand. I constantly strive to discover new ways to challenge myself. I actually opened eight medical clinics before going to medical school.
Hobbies: White-water rafting, boating, surfing, fitness and traveling the globe.
Why CAMC: I have lived in Charleston, WV, since 2010 and love living here. This place is 'Almost Heaven.' Everywhere you look is a new painting. The city has not looked better and has become even more alive with an influx of young and ambitious communities. I always planned to stay in Charleston and raise my two children. CAMC was the perfect place for my residency. The Family Medicine program has exceeded all expectations with a strong clinical foundation and fellow residents and attending physicians who love to teach, are patient with residents and make you feel at home.
Why Family Medicine: I went to medical school to eventually practice Obesity Medicine in the outpatient setting. Family Medicine is the perfect vessel for this path. Not only do you get an abundance of outpatient experience, but you get such a strong foundation in primary care and managing all of the underlying chronic issues that obesity impacts.
Future Plans: I plan to go into obesity medicine.
