Why CAMC: I was drawn to CAMC by the emphasis on early operative experience and the camaraderie I saw among the residents. The fun banter and supportive culture made me feel confident that I could grow both technically and personally here. The surrounding mountains and hiking trails only made the decision easier.
About Me: I’m a first-generation American, born in Kansas City, MO (but don’t worry — I’m not a Chiefs fan). I spent much of my childhood in Dubai before returning to the U.S. to attend Virginia Tech. After nearly a decade in Virginia for both undergrad and medical school, the mountains have become home for me. I’m excited to continue my training in the Appalachian Mountains and give back to a region that has welcomed me so warmly.
