Professional Interests: I am committed to advancing patient care, medical education and professional development of residents through simulation-based training, scholarly research and mentorship, with a special focus on supporting women in medicine. My interests span preventive care, case-based learning and narrative medicine, while fostering programs that promote physician-patient balance and sustainability in academic careers.

Hobbies/Interests: Family’s undisputed travel and vacation planner, yoga, meditation, Indian folk dance ”Bhangra” and reading classics.

Why CAMC: I chose to join CAMC for its collegial and supportive environment, strong mentorship culture and interdisciplinary collaboration focusing on excellent patient care, mutual learning and professional growth.

Life in Charleston: Charleston offers the warmth of a medium-sized city with the charm of a close-knit community. Everything is within a ten-minute drive, neighbors know each other and the natural beauty is stunning. Walkable, scenic canal-side streets, seasonal colors and a diverse and welcoming population have made my transition from Washington, D.C. a very smooth and enriching experience.
