Hometown: Charleston, WV
Area of Interest: General surgery, trauma/critical care, vascular surgery
Why CAMC: When I began applying to surgery residency programs, I knew I wanted to match somewhere that valued strong general surgery training, while simultaneously offering the resources needed to prepare a solid fellowship application. Just as importantly is the culture of a place, and I left my interview day with CAMC truly excited by the prospect of matching here. CAMC offers great surgery training, academic and research opportunities and a friendly and warm culture.
About Me: I’m a native of Charleston, WV, and have lived in West Virginia all my life, aside from my undergrad years in North Carolina. I grew up in a big family, and have four little brothers and a little sister. I’m really looking forward to training in Charleston and taking care of people in my hometown. Outside of medicine, I enjoy playing music, reading, working out and watching sports.
