Why CAMC: As a Rural Scholar, I had the pleasure to rotate with this residency program. I quickly fell in love with the people. Everyone from the faculty to support staff are very supportive. I also believe that our patient population allows for ample opportunities for learning and will allow me to become well-rounded.
Why Family Medicine: I love the preventive aspect of our job. I find satisfaction in keeping my patients healthy.
Future Plans: I will return home after residency to work in a rural, underserved area.
