According to The American Diabetes Association, approximately 223,338 people in West Virginia - or 15.7% of the adult population - have been diagnosed with diabetes. An additional 45,000 people in West Virginia have diabetes but don't know it yet, which greatly increases their health risk. Join us as experts in the field speak on the basics of diabetes, both risks and causes of the disease, and prevention techniques that include information on healthy eating habits. A question-and-answer session with the panel will follow.
