Program Director

Dr. Karinna Andrews has spent the majority of her life in West Virginia and received her undergraduate degree in Biology and Psychology from West Virginia University. She went on to complete her medical education at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, WV. After graduation, Dr. Andrews completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency training at Charleston Area Medical Center/West Virginia University-Charleston Division. After graduating in June of 2013, Dr. Andrews joined the full-time faculty. In 2014, she assumed the role of Associate Program Director and became Residency Program Director in August of 2019. Dr. Andrews is Board Certified with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Andrews is married to Bobby Richardson and they have one son (Mason) and one daughter (Mia). In her spare time, Dr. Andrews enjoys running and college football, but mostly spending time with her family.

Residency Program Specialist

Mackenzi Rigney graduated from West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminology. Upon graduation, she began her professional career with the West Virginia State Police working in their records department. Mackenzi joined the CAMC team in 2024 as the program coordinator for the OB/GYN Residency Program. She looks forward to working in such a rewarding career within medical education.

In her spare time, Mackenzi enjoys spending time with her friends and family. She also has two cats, Quesadilla and Sprout, who are her and her husband’s pride and joy.
