Training Programs in Urology
CAMC sponsors a Urological Surgery Residency that is ACGME-accredited. The goal of the faculty and staff at CAMC is to prepare graduates for entry into careers in Urology, having acquired basic and advanced urologic knowledge and skills necessary to practice in their chosen areas.
Research in Urology
All residents in the department are active with research and are encouraged to publish and present their work at local, regional and national meetings.
Patient Care in Urology
CAMC Urology physicians provide treatment for prostate cancer, kidney stones, urinary incontinence, sexual/erectile dysfunction, or one of the many other urological problems that affect thousands of people every year.
We also specialize in the latest minimally-invasive robotic-assisted surgery procedures for many urologic conditions, including prostatectomy, kidney and bladder surgeries. CAMC has been designated as a Robotic Surgery Center of Excellence by Surgical Review Corporation.
