Program Objectives
The 2026 Vandalia Health CAMC Critical Care Conference will feature lectures, case presentations and educational sessions on a variety of acute and critical care issues facing health care professionals today. This one-day conference will focus on current trends in the understanding of pathophysiology to improve treatment of trauma, stroke and STEMI care in the first 24 hours. The program is designed for physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and allied health professionals involved in critical care medicine.
The program is limited to 120 participants. No prerequisites are required.
At the conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:
- Develop and refine best practices for the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of trauma, stroke, STEMI and related conditions.
- Identify key treatment priorities to improve patient outcomes.
- Promote the use of evidence-based medicine in critical care management.

In accordance with the Standards for Integrity and Independence in Accredited Continuing Education established by the ACCME, faculty, abstract reviewers, paper presenters/authors, planning committee members, staff and any others involved in planning the educational content must disclose any relationship they or their co-authors have with ineligible companies which may be related to their content. Limited parking is available at the CAMC Center for Learning and Research. Participants may also park at the Aladdin Restaurant parking lot, the former CHERI building lot and the CAMC Cancer Center parking lot. There is no charge for parking.
Every effort is made to have a comfortable temperature in the meeting room. However, we realize everyone’s comfort zone differs, so please bring a sweater or light jacket.
