The CAMC Institute for Academic Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education. The Institute is jointly accredited by the American Nursing Association, the American Medical Association and the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education. This means that our Institution simultaneously meets the accreditation requirements of all these entities.

The Institute is monitored by ACCME in order to assess our accreditation status. Because of this, the Institute is required to keep relevant documentation for a minimum of six years. The Institute must maintain a record of its educational activities, planning sessions, participant data and other information related to the development of our educational offerings.

This is why applications, financial disclosure forms, presentations, objectives, resumes and bios (among other important documents) must be collected and kept on record for all our accredited events.

Our Processes

As a jointly accredited provider by ACCME, ANCC and ACPE, we follow all the guidelines of the ACCME as they are detailed on the ACCME website.
