Emergency Medical Services Fellowship

Comprehensive Clinical Training and Academic Experience

The EMS Fellowship at CAMC is dedicated to enhancing the skills of emergency physicians, empowering them to oversee and provide medical oversight across all pre-hospital and out-of-hospital care systems. We aim to offer comprehensive exposure and training in various EMS delivery models, including specialized resources such as aeromedical services, tactical and technical rescue operations, mass gathering management, disaster medicine and EMS education. We provide hands-on experience in direct patient care within field settings while also offering opportunities for both direct and indirect medical direction in diverse urban and rural environments. Supported by the CAMC Institute for Academic Medicine, this fellowship fosters academic growth through research, resident teaching and scholarly activities, equipping fellows to excel in any professional setting after their training. We are committed to facilitating the professional development of our faculty, believing that their growth will contribute to a richer and more successful learning environment for our fellows.

Applications and Start Date

The program accepts two fellows each academic year, with an annual start date in July.
