The Graduate Medical Education House Staff Council is an open forum where residents and fellows can share ideas, raise concerns and connect with GME leadership and peers across programs.
Each house staff representative is selected by their peers to represent their program, serve as a liaison to the Council and share updates from Council meetings with colleagues. While participation in meetings is open to all residents and fellows, only elected representatives vote on formal matters.
House Staff Council meetings are held on the first Tuesday of even-numbered months at 5 p.m. on the fourth floor of the WVU Health Sciences Charleston Campus, with a virtual attendance option available. In-person attendance is preferred.
